I developed a love for art at a very young age. Since then I have always had strong a desire to create.
In my youth my talent was widely recognized and I was encouraged and supported by my friends and family members.
Through the years my art has been my true love. When I create a work of art I not only become involved, but I often loose myself in a state of creativity, such as to give my all to the particular piece.
I feel that one of my strengths as a sculptor is my attention to detail and anatomy. I marvel at the beauty of life and god’s creation. All throughout my life I have meticulously studied human anatomy. Bones and muscle structures have always fascinated me. As an artist I pay much attention to the realism, design, and overall feel and balance of the piece.
One of my greatest joys is to see a work of art that I have created give someone else joy, to help them see the beauty of god’s creations, if even just a little more.
One of the things that I stress in my work is movement. When I sculpt I really want to bring the sculpture to life. This is accomplished through careful planning, revision of sketches, and studying the natural movement of the human body. I believe that when an artist pays close attention to these things and has a love for art, with a strong desire to achieve, only the best can result, and these qualities will show in the piece.
In my art I hope to help others see a little more beauty, to inspire, to appreciate, to love, and to fill the measure of creation…live and be happy.
